According to its designer, in this Pink Purple Blue Flag, the blue color represents the attraction for the opposite sex, while the pink represents the attraction for the same sex. The symbolism of the flag is based on the fact that purple, which represents bisexuals, is at first sight confused with blue or pink, in the same way, that it happens to bisexual people in real life. Or at least this is what designer Michael Page explained.
